Crispy Baked Chicken Wings with Truffle Aioli

For the Chicken Wings:

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split at joints, tips discarded

  • 2 tablespoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Ingredients:

Instructions:

For the Crispy Baked Chicken Wings:

1.      Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

2.      Pat Dry Wings:

    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

3.      Coat with Baking Powder and Spices:

    • In a large bowl, combine baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Add the dried chicken wings to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the mixture.

4.      Arrange on Baking Sheet:

    • Place a wire rack on a baking sheet. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings on the rack, ensuring they are not touching.

5.      Bake until Crispy:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.

6.      Finish with Truffle Oil:

For the Truffle Aioli:

1.      Prepare Aioli:

    • Taste the truffle aioli and adjust the seasoning according to your preference. Add more truffle oil or lemon juice if desired.
